How we show reviews

Reviews help people decide whom to let into their home or office. So we show them as they were written, and we never make them up, pay for them or hide the ones we don’t like.

Where our reviews come from

Every review on this site was written by a customer on Google. Our rating, 4.9 from 73 Google reviews, is the figure Google showed on the date beside it; we update it when it changes. We also have reviews on Trustpilot.

How we quote them

  • Word for word, with the customer’s own spelling and punctuation, and their name as they wrote it.
  • When a review is long, we quote the start and mark the cut with an ellipsis (…). We never join pieces of different reviews.
  • A quote sits next to the service it talks about, so a printer review appears with printers.
  • We don’t present a review as being about a town unless the review itself names it.

What we never do

  • Write reviews ourselves, or ask friends, family or staff to write them.
  • Pay for reviews, or offer discounts or gifts in return for one.
  • Ask only happy customers, or ask for a good review: we ask for an honest one.
  • Edit, shorten in a misleading way, or remove a review on Google or Trustpilot because it is critical.

Reading all of them

We can only quote some reviews on these pages. Every review, whatever the rating, can be read on Google and Trustpilot.
